The Plaza de la Encarnación, a square in the historic center of the city, is the perfect example. This is where the Metropol Parasol is located: the largest wooden structure in the world, an avant-garde architectural project by the famous Berlin architect Jürgen Mayer. A unique reticular structure that provides shade to this public square surrounded by historic buildings. Born amid controversy, today it sits comfortably among its older, monumental counterparts, magically integrated into the skyline of terraces and parapets so characteristic of the city center. At the gateway to all this is La Puerta de la Victoria, an apartment that combines classicism, Sevillian essence and the fabulous style of Amaro Sánchez de Moya, currently one of our most sought-after interior designers. This two-bedroom apartment is the result of a renovation project that makes the most of the architectural features of the period Sevillian house in which it is located and adds a very distinctive flavor to its interior decoration. The result: a spectacular, functional and elegant home, discreet luxury with a masculine and seductive touch.

The property seduces you from the moment you cross the threshold: the high ceilings, large windows, original woodwork and colorful hexagonal tiles testify to the quality and Sevillian character of the apartment. The walls have been painted in attractive colors: greens, blues and grays, the rooms furnished with carefully selected pieces of different styles and origins.

A hallway leads from the entrance to the rest of the apartment. First of all, the kitchen, classic style made modern by the green color palette. It is fully equipped with appliances and appliances and opens onto an interior patio with tiled walls and furniture where you can have a quiet breakfast.

The living room is at the end of the hallway, facing the street and bathed in natural light from two large windows. There is a living area with TV, sofa, chairs, coffee table, sideboard and sound system. All carefully chosen pieces, all of the highest quality and all different; versatile, so you can adapt the room to your own needs. We love Amaro's use of symmetry in his designs, almost as if he's setting up a small, opulent stage. The story is in the details: lamps, red painted iron side tables, sumptuous textiles, curtains and soft furnishings used throughout to add a masculine and trendy touch. A separate dining area has a table and chairs seating six people.

The property has two double bedrooms of similar size, both bathed in natural light and overlooking the street through large balcony windows. The first of the bedrooms has twin beds and a rod for hanging clothes and a suitcase. The second bedroom has a double bed and a private bathroom. In both bedrooms, the textiles used are the striking factor: a mix of velvet, silk, linen and cotton, in an expressive combination of designs that give the rooms a renewed air: upholstered headboards, intense and dramatic colors

In addition to the en-suite bathroom, there is another full bathroom with a stand-alone bathtub. The decoration of the bathrooms has also been carefully chosen for a very original result: painted walls, Macael marble (from quarries in the Almeria region) and wall tiles matching the hexagonal tiles used throughout the property.

The Plaza de la Encarnación is a strategic crossroads in the city center, a short walk from the main tourist sites. Covered by the now emblematic Metropol Parasol and its impressive viewpoint, the historical heritage is omnipresent: the Church of the Annunciation, the Church of the Divine Redeemer or even the Plaza de la Campana (Square of the Bells). New fashion boutiques, cafes and small restaurants have breathed new life into this area, now known as the Soho of Seville, and the nearby streets of Regina and Pérez Galdós will delight shoppers. In short, it is the ideal place to enjoy a city break in Seville at any time of the year, but perhaps especially at Easter, with numerous processions and services in the many churches that can be found here.

Payment terms and -periods

A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount and any cancellation insurance shall be made within 7 days. The second payment shall be made no later than six weeks before departure.

If you pay in two installments, you will receive an email with a reminder to pay the second installment one week before its term expires. If you leave within six weeks, you must make payment in one installment. When leaving within 14 days, you must make payment in one installment via credit card or PayPal.
