General

The holiday home for 6 persons has a bathroom and four bedrooms. The holiday home is equipped with a fireplace, a CD player, a burglar alarm, a television, an underfloor heating and a DVD player. In addition there is a barbecue, a garden, a terrace, garden furniture and a sauna. You can park your car on a parking lot.

The holiday home has a washing machine, a Internet connection, a freezer and a fridge.

Children

Especially for (young) children, there is a cot and a high chair.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop (gas, 4 pits), a toaster, a dishwasher, a microwave, a convection microwave, a coffee maker and a waterboiler.

In the holiday home you will find bathroom textiles (for rent), kitchen textiles (for rent) and bed linnen (for rent).

This cozy farmhouse is located on a private yard on the edge of the stunning nature reserve “the Reestdal” in the south of Drenthe. The nature reserve is surrounded by the villages of Dedemsvaart, Balkbrug and Zuidwolde. Here you can enjoy a wide view in an ambiance of space and serenity. The farmhouse is perfectly suited for 8 adults and 2 children. Everything has been done to ensure you will have a comfortable vacation. You have a dishwasher, washing machine and freezer at your disposal. There is an iPod dock and free Wi-Fi on the entire grounds. Beautiful walking and cycling routes can be done from your new home. Also if you don’t choose to be active during your vacation, you will enjoy your stay at this farmhouse. It is very pleasant to relax on the (partly covered) terrace or to join each other around the cozy wood stove. There is an ample choice of cycling and walking paths in the near surroundings. After an active day you can relax in the sauna or the beauty center, located within 2 kilometers from the farmhouse. Children can enjoy eating pancakes at the Pannenkoekenhuis. Within an area of 5 kilometers you can find several supermarkets, public swimming pools, restaurants and cozy shopping streets.

The farmhouse has 4 bedrooms. The whole ground floor has under floor heating and a wood stove for many cozy moments. The spacious living room has a seating area with TV, DVD, CD-player and iPod dock. The ground floor provides a toilet, spacious bathroom with washing machine and two bedrooms with 2 box springs each (210 x 180). The open kitchen has a seating area, fridge, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, 4-pit stove, water cooker, microwave oven and freezer. You can reach the partly covered terrace with barbecue through a sliding door. On the first floor you have a bedroom with 2 box springs and a wash basin as well as large bedroom with two single beds and a double sleeping couch and wash basin. The beds on the first floor can be used as single as well as double beds.  A highchair and child bed are provided free of charge for the little ones. There is ample parking space next to the farmhouse.

Serenity, nature and space are characteristic for the beautiful nature reserve the Reestdal, where this farmhouse is located. The Reestdal is also an ideal area to be active and to exercise. In the near surroundings you can rent bicycles and a little further at the Weerribben and Giethoorn are many water recreation possibilities. At “Thermen Zuidwolde” you can enjoy a visit to the sauna or a relaxing massage or beauty treatment. For a large portion of culture you are at the right place. There are several museums, such as the Drents museum in Assen, the Hunebeddenmusesum in Borger, the limekilns in Dedemsvaart or historic Orvelte. Very impressive is a visit to the Memorial Center of Kamp Westerbork. Tip: Children will thoroughly enjoy a visit to attractionpark Slagharen and the animal park Noorderdierenpark in Emmen. And that’s not all….

You can shop in Zuidwolde on 5 kilometer from your holiday home. There is also a mall nearby, in 5 kilometer. Want even more activities? The nearby area features swimming, shopping, going out, golfing, water sports and your holiday home's surroundings features fitness. You can also relax, because near Boerderij het Reestdal in Zuidwolde you can go to the city, a vineyard or a welnesscentre.

Payment terms and -periods

The initial deposit is 30% of the rent and any covered insurance. The second payment must be paid no later than six weeks before you leave. If you leave within nine weeks, you must pay the full amount in one installment.
