In the heart of unspoiled countryside, but only 2km from the village of Panicale, which is often called one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, this apartment is well placed to explore the treasures of Umbria. The closest airport is at Perugia (50 minute drive).

The apartment sleeps 4 people, and is on the top floor of a sensitively restored house. The fitted kitchen is a combination of modern and traditional with terracotta tiled floors and dining table. It is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer, and coffee machine. Guests can relax on the shaded balcony either dining al fresco, or just enjoying the stunning views out over the Nestore valley.

There is plenty to do, on your doorstep. In the autumn guests can join the owners in the harvest. Both grapes for wine, followed by wine tasting. October/November is peak olive harvesting season, when, after picking, guests can then try the newly pressed olive oil. There is also horse riding on the farm, which can be organized in advance. The capital of Umbria, Perugia is 45 minutes away. It is well worth a visit, as is the famous town of Assisi (1 hour) birthplace of St. Francis and a site of pilgrimage.

Payment terms and -periods

The initial deposit is 30% of the rent and any covered insurance. The second payment must be paid no later than six weeks before you leave. If you leave within nine weeks, you must pay the full amount in one installment.
