General

This holiday home for 6 persons has two bedrooms. The holiday home is equipped with a TV and a fireplace. In addition there is a sauna. You can park your car on a parking lot. The badroom is equipped with a shower.

The holiday home has a freezer and a washing machine.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a dishwasher and an oven.

55 km south of Turku, Archipelago / Peimari (width 1 km) 30 m, cliff beach, to which via stairs, shore dredged, clay bottom, pier, own boat.

The refrigerator in the kitchen has a small freezer section. Air source heat pump.

An electric car charging point (Type 2), charging power 5,5 kW, is available for an additional fee. Activation of the charging point is booked and paid (5 €) when booking. The price of charging electricity is 30 cents/kWh, payment directly to the owner on the spot.

The resort has good fishing opportunities, but please note that net fishing is not possible.

Final cleaning is included in the price: it covers basic cleaning (vacuuming, mopping, wiping the surfaces). However, the booked final cleaning does not cover dish-washing, returning table and cookware to their original place or garbage removal. Clients must also remove empty bottles and cans from the property and return any moved furniture to their original place. Any food must be taken away or to the waste disposal point. There are certain designated places for cleaning the fish, and fishes must not be cleaned inside the cottages or on their terraces. If after your booking there needs to be cleaned more than is included in the price, then the owner is entitled to charge extra for cleaning.

From summer 2024, during June-July-August, reservations start at 6 p.m. and end at 12 p.m. At other times, reservations start at 4 p.m. and end at 12 p.m.

Cottage fit for an artist. These views simply scream to be immortalized – if not a paintbrush, do bring at least a camera. The cottage itself is built according to the best Finnish cottage building traditions making Merimetso a cosy and comfortable home away from home. Take a swim from the jetty and enjoy the simple pleasures of summer.

Sunrise over the archipelago. Waves lapping gently or the crisp sounds of ice, pull on the fishing rod. The most perfect moments are born out of simplest things.

The lovingly cared for quality cottages and meeting facilities of Merirantala are in the pure nature of Turku archipelago. Even though we are in the middle of the unspoiled nature, we are only a short drive away: coming from Helsinki takes two hours and from Turku you get here in less than an hour.

Peimari is famous for good fishing waters for pike perches and pikes. Close to the boat ramp, own trolling boats can be put into the water with owner's tractor. Seaworthy Buster boats for rent through a partner. Please book the boats as early as possible, because they are very popular during high season. For a separate fee guided boat tours and fishing trips to the archipelago with the skipper (max. 4 persons).

Taalintehdas 55 km, Kasnäs (eg Mussel Visitor Centre, spa, sea excursions Bengtskär lighthouse on the island, as well as Rosala Viking village) 65 km, Kimito 35 km, Meriteijo Ski & Action Park 55 km, Turku and Naantali attractions is about 60 km.

Pike, perch or pike-perch – the biggest and most memorable catches await you. The fish in Peimari waters reach epic proportions and provide you at the very least with the best stories for the dinner table.

Fireworks are not allowed during new year.

There is a lake/open water less than 50 meter. Want even more activities? The nearby area features skiing. You can also relax, because near Merimetso in Sauvo you can go to the water.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
