80 km north-east of Kuopio, L.Korpinen 10 m (length 9 km, width 0.6 km) shallow, sanded clay bottom, own boat. Roundlog cottage 1999, living room/kitchen convertible sofa (width 140 cm), sleeping alcove bed (width 160 cm), washroom hand shower and WC, sauna. Terrace on two sides. Access to sauna and washroom via terrace. Cottage is located on a promontory on Korpisaari in lovely rural scenery next to bridge. Quiet village road between cottage and owner’s house. Good zander stocks in lake.
The owner rents fat bikes, an outdoor hot tub heated by electricity in May-October, an electric outboard motor in summer and snowshoes and sliding snowshoes in winter.
River Tiilikkajoki 8 km, rapids fishing and canoeing opportunities. Huuhkaja nature trail 8 km, marked trails 10 km, 2 lean-to’s. Älänne sand dunes 8 km, marked trails 19 km, 3 lean-to’s, fire place, dry toilet and parking area. Tahko Ski Resort by ice road 25 km, by road 45 km, Tiilikkajärvi National Park 43 km. Iisalmi 55 km, Rautavaara 25 km, Varpaisjärvi 20 km, Rissala airport 70 km.
