Wood-built house, originally built in 1949, expanded and renovated later. On the ground floor, living room, bedroom with 2 beds, sauna, washroom, dressing room and separate WC. On the upper floor, bedroom with double bed and another bedroom with 2 separate beds. Covered terrace.

Ski trail maintained by the village committee near the house, length about 5 km.
Log-built cabin (Honkakämppä) on the top of Palovaara hill can be used as a base for nature excursions, distance 3 km. In winter, there is a ski trail from the cabin to the Honkakämppä.

Fishing: 5411 The Northern Ostrobothnia-Kainuu angling permit allows you to fish with a fly or a lure on state owned waters located in Northern Ostrobothnia and Kainuu (www.eraluvat.fi). The advantage of this angling permit is that the adult’s permit allows the whole family to fish, and it allows trolling with max. eight rods too. The permit allows you to fish on the state-owned waters containing rapids and streams that are not included in the fisheries management fee (www.eraluvat.fi).
Fishing in lake Vuosanganjärvi is allowed with one rod and lure with fisheries management fee.

Hunting: Small game hunting area on state owned lands 5617 Länsi-Kuhmo begins near the cabin (www.eraluvat.fi).

There is a lake/open water less than 500 meter. Want even more activities? The nearby area features skiing. You can also relax, because near Käpylä in Kuhmo you can go to the water.

Payment terms and -periods

After the booking confirmation, you must make a deposit equal to 20% of the total rental amount within 10 days. The second payment must be paid no later than 42 days before you leave. If you leave within six weeks, you must pay down the full amount immediately.
